Here is an early 1980's green label Japanese CE-3 stereo chorus. These sound very good indeed. This one is in good shape but missing a few backplate screws and has a replacement screw at the front. Tested and working great.
The Boss CE-3 Chorus Ensemble (1982–1992) is a vintage analog, bucket-brigade (BBD) pedal, often considered a versatile, slightly brighter alternative to the CE-2 with added stereo capabilities. It features Rate and Depth controls plus a stereo mode switch, delivering classic '80s, watery, shimmering chorus sounds.

Stereo Operation: Unlike the mono-only CE-2, the CE-3 offers two stereo modes (Wet A/Wet B or Wet A/Dry B), allowing for wide, immersive chorus sounds.
Tone: Known for a slightly more "metallic" or "chimey" tone compared to the warmer CE-2, making it excellent for 80s pop/rock tones.
Controls: Simple 3-knob layout (Rate, Depth, Mode switch) in a distinctive metallic blue finish.
Power: Uses the older ACA power supply (or 9V battery), which may require 12V to operate correctly with modern daisy-chain.
