Description
The AEA R44C is a ribbon microphone based on the classic RCA 44-series design from the 1930s. Built using original RCA manufacturing methods and interchangeable parts, it delivers pronounced low-end proximity effect, full midrange presence, and smooth high frequencies that reduce harshness across a broad range of instruments and vocal applications. The R44C is hand-crafted to match the specifications and sound character of the original 1936–38 RCA 44BX model.
