Description
The AMS NEVE StarNet DM256 is a Dante-to-MADI converter handling up to 256 channels in each direction through a single ethernet connection. It features four MADI ports with duplex SC optical and dual-BNC coaxial connections, dual ethernet ports for Dante connectivity with network redundancy, and a low-drift crystal oscillator clocking system. An OLED front panel displays network settings and audio parameters, while Maximum Channel Mapping enables flexible MADI I/O assignments per port. The unit includes an external power supply design for thermal management.
