Description
The API 3124V is a microphone preamp featuring variable output level control and switchable 3:1 output transformer selection. It includes a switchable 48-volt phantom power supply per channel, front-panel -20dB pad switches for mic and Hi-Z inputs, and up to 65dB of gain. The unit provides Hi-Z front-panel inputs that connect directly to op amps for amplifying instruments like guitar or bass without additional equipment, and accepts input levels up to +20dBu for keyboards and similar devices. Mic preamp outputs connect via rear-panel XLR connectors.
