Product details

The API 512c is a 500 Series mic, line, and instrument preamplifier. It provides a front-panel 1/4-inch DI input, rear-panel microphone and line inputs, switchable 48 V phantom power, polarity reverse, and a 20 dB pad. The 512c uses API’s 2520 op amp and transformer-coupled circuitry; its gain control ranges from 20 dB to 65 dB, and the VU meter can display output level or preamp gain.
