Description
The API 525 is a feedback-type compressor featuring input and output controls along with a Ceiling function for adjusting gain reduction and output level simultaneously. It offers selectable compression ratios of 2:1 or 20:1, a fast 15µs attack time, and four auto-release modes ranging from 0.1s to 2.0s. The unit includes a De-Ess function for sibilance control, hard-wire bypass, balanced input, and can be linked with other 525s for multi-channel operation. Multiple units can be integrated into 500 series racks.
