Product details

The API 550A is a discrete equalizer offering reciprocal equalization at 21 points with up to 12dB of gain per point across three overlapping frequency ranges. High and low frequency ranges can be selected as peaking or shelving, while an independent band-pass filter is also available. Controls include three dual-concentric switches for frequency and gain selection, an "in" switch, and a toggle for the band-pass filter. The unit employs API's 2520 op amp and Proportional Q circuitry.
