The APPSYS PROAUDIO ADX-16 is a bidirectional ADAT Lightpipe extender that transmits two TOSLINK connections over a single Cat5 cable up to 100 meters, overcoming the standard 5-meter optical cable distance limitation. It delivers bit-transparent audio transmission with latency below 1 microsecond, enabling applications such as multi-channel remote recording and connecting ADAT-equipped devices like digital audio workstations and mixers across extended distances.
