At roughly 832 x 728 x 424 mm per cabinet and a very heavy build, plus a separate rack-mounted P4 amplifier pack requiring balanced XLR feeds, it is impractical for desktop or space-constrained rooms. Anyone wanting an all-in-one self-powered near-field monitor should look elsewhere.

Product details

The ATC SCM200ASL Pro is a large three-way active studio monitor built by ATC Loudspeakers for freestanding or soffit-mounted use in medium-to-large control rooms and film re-recording stages. Each cabinet carries two 12-inch (314mm) bass drivers, an ATC 75mm Super Dome midrange, and a 34mm tweeter, all driven by ATC's external P4 rack-mount class A/B amplifier pack. The P4 provides 275+275W to the bass drivers, 200W to the midrange, and 100W to the high frequencies. ATC rates the system at 118dB maximum continuous SPL at 1 metre with crossover points at 380Hz and 3.5kHz. It is sold as a single cabinet.
