Description
The Austrian Audio OC818 Dual Set Plus is a matched pair of large-diaphragm studio condenser microphones featuring handmade 1-inch ceramic capsules with switchable polar patterns: figure-8, hypercardioid, cardioid, omnidirectional, and wide cardioid. Each microphone offers dual outputs enabling custom polar pattern design through the open-source PolarDesigner plug-in or stereo imaging via StereoCreator. A -10/-20 dB pad and three-position high-pass filter (40, 80, 160 Hz) provide control over distortion and low-frequency issues. The set includes two shockmounts, clips, stereo bar, XLR cables, windscreens, and carrying case.
