The Avalon V5 is a professional preamp and DI unit featuring dual solid-state topologies designed to deliver rich low-midrange harmonics alongside deep bass control and enhanced vocal projection. It operates in 100% discrete Class A and accommodates ribbon, dynamic, and condenser microphones as well as instruments like bass guitar, keyboards, and passive pickups, with a DI input stage rated for +36dB headroom. The unit includes a high-quality input transformer, passive tone-bank control, professional VU metering, high-cut switch, and multiple outputs including a transformer-isolated re-amp output.
