Description
The BAE 312B is a 500 Series preamp and DI module featuring a lower-gain Jensen input transformer compared to the 312A, providing 7dB less gain to accommodate louder sources such as hot drum microphones without requiring frequent pad engagement. It incorporates an Avedis 1122 discrete op-amp, input and output Jensen transformers with direct-coupled circuitry, and maintains consistent input impedance when the pad is engaged. The module includes a presence peak switch, instrument DI, phase reverse, 48V phantom power, and pad control.
