Product details

Chandler Limited RS660 Compressor with Stepped I/O Switches is the stepped-control option of Chandler's RS660 mono valve compressor/limiter. The manual and dealer specifications identify the RS660 as a handmade, mono, stereo-linkable tube compressor in a 2U 19-inch rack chassis with internal power supply. Its tube complement is listed as 6386, 6CG7 and 6AL5, with custom transformer-balanced XLR input and output, pin 2 hot, +4 operation, 15 kOhm input impedance, and switchable 200/600 ohm output impedance. Front-panel controls include input, output, THD/Limit/Comp mode selection, a seven-position time-constant switch, link switching, analog gain-reduction metering and a BAL rebalancing utility. The stepped I/O version substitutes stepped input/output control switches for the standard variable controls. GTIN, exact dimensions beyond rack format, and weight were not found in accessible sources.
