Description
The Cosmotronic Aphelion is an 8HP stereo distortion and filter module featuring three parallel distortion circuits—overdrive, wavefolder, and RAT-inspired—selectable via a character knob or CV input. A mix control blends dry and wet signals, while a +12dB gain switch intensifies the effect. The non-resonant stereo filter combines low-pass and high-pass stages based on classic SSM2040 topology, with independent CV control and a bypass switch for live performance flexibility. Power consumption is 100mA at +12V and 80mA at -12V with 28mm depth.
