The DPA 2011C is a cardioid condenser microphone featuring a twin diaphragm capsule design that combines two opposite-facing miniature capsules into a single dual-diaphragm structure. This approach delivers fast impulse response and extended frequency bandwidth while maintaining linear off-axis response, resulting in improved stage separation and gain-to-feedback characteristics. The compact preamplifier provides a slightly warmer low-end character compared to other models in the d:dicate series, and the capsule can be swapped without tools for configuration flexibility.
