Electrodyne Audio Summing Station is a 1U, 19-inch analog summing mixer and monitor-control unit for DAW-based studios. Documentation and review sources describe a 16-channel active summing network, stereo bus, fully balanced stereo insert path, transformer-balanced analog outputs, Electrodyne-style discrete transistor op-amps and original-design transformers. It also includes control-room monitor functions, main/alt monitor selection, dim, mute, mono fold-down, artist cue and talkback, a high-power headphone amplifier and rear-panel provision for optional A/D, D/A and word-clock expansion.
