Description
The Erica Synths Bullfrog is a modular subtractive synthesizer developed in collaboration with Richie Hawtin. It features voltage-controlled oscillator, noise generator, filter, VCA with delay, envelope generators, and sample & hold modules that can be patched together using eurorack cables or configured via voice cards to add functionality like sampling, sequencing, and groovebox modes. The instrument requires manual patching to generate sound, allowing users to learn subtractive synthesis principles and sound design. A comprehensive manual supports the learning process.
