Description
The Persephone is a voltage-controlled amplifier that uses a discrete JFET gain element capable of being driven into saturation for distortion effects. It features a zero-crossing detector that aligns gain changes with audio waveform zeros, eliminating clicks and pops during fast envelope modulation. Signal and CV paths operate entirely in the analogue domain, with discrete logic handling the zero-cross circuit. The module measures 8HP wide with 37mm depth and draws 33mA at +12V and 26mA at −12V.
