Description
The Gyratec XXII from GYRAF Audio is a vari-mu compressor offering dual-mono and stereo compression modes with backwards-compatible G10 operation. The circuit faithfully reproduces the original G10 design with increased headroom, expanded sidechain threshold range, and a high-pass filter to reduce pumping in bass-heavy material. The unit includes M/S mode processing for independent dynamics control of mono and side information, plus a continuously variable Vari-link control for adjusting channel correlation from none to full.
