Description
The Tubecore 3U is a stereo mastering compressor using a vari-mu topology with transformer-balanced I/O. It features switchable sidechain high-pass filter, parallel compression via MIX control, independent attack and release switches, and user-replaceable tubes accessible from the rear. The unit operates in dual-mono or mid/side modes and includes two bypass positions for A/B comparison. Hand-assembled with precision components and calibrated individually, it ships with 6N1P-EW NOS tubes and Carnhill and Sowter transformers; tube selection can be changed to alter compression character.
