Description
The IGS AUDIO V8 is a dual-mono compressor built with discrete components and six Carnhill transformers. Compression is handled by a bridge circuit with four matched pulse diodes, while stepped controls enable precise channel matching and recall. The unit includes a sidechain high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency influence on compression and a +10THR switch for an additional 10dB threshold reduction, useful for compressing weak signals or achieving aggressive compression settings.
