The Josephson Engineering C617SET is a studio condenser microphone supplied with a Microtech Gefell MK221 capsule. It operates from standard P48 phantom power while providing 200 volt polarization for the half-inch capsule. The microphone features a cascode FET front end and balanced bipolar class-A output stage, with an omnidirectional pickup pattern and minimal proximity effect and wind noise sensitivity.
