The Kii THREE BXT System Pro is a two-channel active studio monitor system pairing two Kii THREE monitors with two BXT bass-extension modules and a Kii Control unit. Each side combines twelve 6.5-inch woofers, one 5-inch midrange, and one 1-inch waveguided tweeter driven by 2,000 watts of custom Class D amplification, for over 7,000 watts across the stereo pair. It uses Kii Audio's Active Wave Focusing DSP crossover to produce cardioid (controlled) directivity, quoted at 4.8 dB from 54 Hz to 1 kHz, to reduce room interaction. Stated frequency response is -3 dB at 20 Hz, with +/-0.5 dB from 100 Hz to 10 kHz and +/-1 dB from 10 kHz to 20 kHz, and operation is selectable between linear phase and minimum latency. Inputs include analogue, AES/EBU, and KiiLink, with SPDIF, TOSLink, and USB available through the Kii Control; this unit is finished in FineTouch Dark Grey.
