This mastering-grade variable mu compressor from Manley Labs features precision-stepped controls built with 1% metal film resistors and gold-contact Grayhill switches, replacing the conductive plastic potentiometers found on standard units. The input level offers five 2 dB steps, while the output attenuator and threshold controls operate in half dB increments, with threshold spanning 12 dB in limit mode and approximately 6 dB in compress mode. An MS modification option is available.
