Description
This Manley Labs stereo variable mu limiter compressor uses vacuum tube gain reduction via remote cutoff bias of a 5670 dual triode, employing the same technique as the vintage Fairchild 670. The unit offers a soft-knee compress mode at 1.5:1 ratio and a limit mode ranging from 4:1 to 20:1, with the knee softening as limiting increases. It can be configured with midside and T-bar modification options and features separate threshold and output controls for stereo operation.
