Microtech Gefell UM 92.1 S is a side-address tube condenser microphone with switchable polar patterns. The manufacturer data sheet describes a classic M 7 capsule using two large-diameter gold-plated plastic diaphragms, a pressure-gradient transducer design and an EF86 pentode operated as a high-mu triode in the vacuum-tube preamplifier. Omni, cardioid and figure-8 patterns are selected at the UN 920.1 power supply.
