Description
The M808A is a dual-channel tube microphone and instrument preamplifier featuring switchable Pentode/Triode operation for varied gain and harmonic character. Class A single-ended circuitry and hand-wound audio transformers deliver the sonic foundation, while a built-in saturation detection circuit with front-panel indicator helps monitor tube headroom. Four selectable high-pass and low-pass filter frequencies enable quick tonal shaping, and the preamp accommodates microphones, guitars, keyboards, and line-level sources via dedicated DI inputs.
