The Neumann BCM 104 is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for broadcast and studio applications. It features a flat frequency response up to 3 kHz with a gradual presence peak in the higher frequencies, making it suitable for speech and music recording. Internal switches allow compensation for proximity effect and 14 dB sensitivity reduction. The removable headgrille includes a built-in popscreen and accepts optional color-coded grilles for hygiene purposes.
