Description
The Neumann M 149 is a tube microphone featuring the K 49 capsule paired with a tube impedance converter and transformerless output stage, allowing it to drive long cables without tonal coloration. Nine selectable polar patterns and a seven-step high-pass filter with adjustable cutoff frequency accommodate diverse recording applications. The capsule mounts elastically within an acoustically open headgrille designed to minimize structure-borne noise and reflections.
