Description
The USM 69 i is a stereo condenser microphone with two independent dual-diaphragm capsules mounted vertically. The upper capsule rotates 270 degrees against the lower one, allowing separate polar pattern selection for each capsule. Designed for intensity stereo recording, it supports XY and MS techniques, with five selectable polar patterns per capsule controlled via onboard switches. Both capsules feature gold-sputtered polyester film diaphragms and operate through independent amplifiers with extremely low self-noise, connecting directly to any 48V phantom power source.
