The PMC12 XBD is a three-way, four-driver active studio reference monitor built as a dual-cabinet system: a main PMC12 three-way cabinet paired with a matching PMC12 SUB XBD bass extension cabinet. Each channel uses two in-house 12-inch low-frequency drivers, a 75 mm PMC75v3 midrange, and a 34 mm soft-dome tweeter, all loaded by PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) bass design with LaminairX venting. The system is powered and DSP-controlled by PMC's master36 amplifier, delivering 3,600 W per cabinet (800 W high, 800 W mid, and 2 x 1,000 W low), with crossover, driver protection, and room EQ handled through the SoundAlign2 interface.
