The Royer R-121 is a ribbon microphone featuring patented offset-ribbon technology that allows the ribbon element to flex freely under high sound pressure, delivering full frequency response up to 160dB SPL at 1kHz. This design enables use on electric guitars, brass instruments, drums, and other high-SPL sources while maintaining a warm, natural sound character.
