Description
The Schlappi Engineering BTFLD is a distortion and wavefolder module featuring a four-bit asynchronous analog-to-digital converter. It delivers bit-crushed effects through stepped outputs and hard-sync-like timbres via its folding circuit, while square wave outputs provide frequency multiplication and distortion options. The module can generate rhythms by routing envelopes or LFOs to its inputs and using bit outputs as gates, and integrates with other four-bit modules for binary system experimentation.
