Schoeps CMC 1 with MK 4 Stereo Set is a modular small-diaphragm condenser stereo pair built from CMC 1 miniature Colette microphone amplifiers and MK 4 cardioid capsules. The CMC 1 family is a compact alternative to the CMC 6 and is compatible with Schoeps MK capsules and active Colette accessories. Schoeps specifies the CMC 1 U variant at 36 mm length, 20 mm diameter and 36 g, with 12 V or 48 V phantom operation, 1.8 V maximum output, 50 ohm output impedance and RFI Shield. The MK 4 is a cardioid capsule specified at 40 Hz-26 kHz, 15 mV/Pa sensitivity, 14 dB A-weighted equivalent noise, 80 dB A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio and 135 dB SPL maximum level with CMC 1. Each MK 4 capsule is 22 mm long, 20 mm in diameter and 17 g.
