Description
The SCHOEPS CMIT 5 U is a shotgun condenser microphone with directional characteristics that increase progressively at higher frequencies, delivering balanced sound. Off-axis sounds are recorded with minimal movement artifacts due to soft rolloff. Three pushbutton filters offer high-frequency emphasis at 10 kHz for speech clarity, a steep low-cut below 80 Hz for wind and boom noise reduction, and gentle low-frequency rolloff below 300 Hz to compensate for proximity effect. LED indicators display filter status and operational state. The capsule and amplifier are integrated as a single unit, and the microphone maintains consistent directionality across vertical and horizontal planes.
