Description
The Schoeps MK21g is a condenser microphone capsule with a directional pattern positioned between omnidirectional and cardioid. It combines extended low-frequency response with reduced proximity effect compared to cardioid designs, while maintaining consistent directionality across frequencies. Off-axis coloration is minimal, yielding accurate reproduction of both direct and ambient sound. The capsule works well in M/S and near-coincident stereo configurations.
