Description
The SE Electronics RNR1 is a ribbon microphone featuring custom Rupert Neve-designed transformers and a 2.5µm aluminum ribbon element. The transformer coupling and internal circuitry work together to extend the microphone's frequency response and compensate for the natural high-frequency roll-off typical of ribbon designs. This combination preserves detailed high-frequency content while maintaining the warm, intimate midrange character ribbon microphones are known for.
