Description
The Sennheiser MK 8 is a dual-diaphragm condenser microphone featuring five selectable polar patterns: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid, and figure-eight. It includes a 3-step attenuator for input sensitivity adjustment, two adjustable filters for proximity effect and low-frequency compensation, and one-inch gold-sputtered diaphragms with elastic capsule mounting. The microphone is housed in a metal body with front-end electronics integrated into the capsule for enhanced humidity and vibration resistance.
