Description
The Serpent Audio Chimera is a 500 series optical compressor built with discrete circuitry, transformer-balanced input and output, and a Class AB transistor output stage. It features a T4B optical cell with an electroluminescent panel and photo resistor cells for gain reduction, delivering vintage opto compression characteristics. The unit includes Orange Drop and Elna capacitors, a full steel enclosure with cover, and is manufactured in the USA.
