Description
The C1LA is a two-module 500-series compressor offering three operational modes for stereo or mono applications, including main mix bus, sub-mix, and tracking use. Each channel operates independently or in stereo mode with optional DC-linked side-chain control to preserve image while allowing dynamic movement. Built on the original C1 electronics and settings refined over 25 years, the unit features medium-speed attack and release characteristics designed to shape transients while maintaining mix cohesion. A new SOFT mode compression curve operates across a 15dB input range for enhanced control.
