The SSL E-EQ is a 500-series equalizer module that recreates the EQ section from SSL's SL 4000 E console channel strip. It offers two switchable EQ variants—historically identified as "Brown" and "Black"—each with distinct response curves and tonal characteristics, both derived from console editions manufactured between 1981 and 1989.
