Description
The Sound Devices Scorpio is a portable 32-channel, 36-track mixer-recorder built for production sound work. It provides 16 mic/line preamplifiers with built-in analog limiters, high-pass filters, delay, 3-band EQ, and phantom power, plus a fully customizable routing matrix with up to 12 individually mixable buses. It records 36 tracks (32 iso channels and 4 buses) simultaneously to an internal 256 GB SSD and two removable SD cards for redundancy. Connectivity includes 32x32 Dante audio-over-Ethernet (AES67 compatible), AES3/AES42 digital I/O, 12 analog outputs, USB-C file transfer, and a timecode generator accurate to 0.1 ppm. It can be powered by dual rear-mounted L-mount batteries with a built-in charger or via dual 10-18 V TA4 DC inputs.
