The SPL Iron v2 is a tube mastering compressor featuring updated side chain connectivity with XLR sockets. This revision combines tube compression inspired by vintage radio-era designs with SPL's 120V technology, employing variable-bias tube circuitry with matched 12AX7 and 12AU7 tubes routed through Lundahl transformers. The compressor is designed to add presence and depth to sources while maintaining musical, transparent control suited for mastering applications.
