Description
The Tape-Op is an 8hp analog distortion module featuring a discrete op-amp design with class-A output stage and multi-diode ladder that emulates tube and tape saturation characteristics. It includes an integrated Baxandall equalizer positioned before or after the distortion, a voltage-controlled amplifier with trim and tape bias controls, and a Zener hard limit switch for additional distortion and headroom management. The combination of these controls enables varied saturated tones and compression effects.
