The Studio Technologies Model 5401A is a Dante master clock that delivers precise timing via IEEE 1588 precision time protocol (PTP) server functionality. It supports both PTPv1 for Dante and PTPv2 for AES67 applications, accommodating hundreds of compatible devices simultaneously. The unit includes word clock output for external timing reference, eight sine wave audio tones for network installation and maintenance, and a sync input for synchronizing its internal oscillator to external timing signals.
