Description
The Rooster 2 is a microphone preamp featuring a 12AX7 double triode input stage with transformer balancing. It offers phantom power switching, DI input with transformer bypass, and an Attitude section using a 5654 valve to introduce harmonics—selectable between triode and pentode modes for different harmonic characteristics. The three-band EQ includes bass lift with a varislope curve peaked at 60Hz, a mid/high lift with switchable frequency response, mid cut centered at 700Hz, and a five-position bass cut with progressive high-pass and shelving curves.
