The WA84 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone featuring a discrete Class A circuit with a CineMag USA transformer, polystyrene and Wima capacitors, and a Fairchild FET. It employs a custom vintage-style capsule manufactured to classic specifications. Designed for studio, live, and broadcast applications, the WA84 is suitable for acoustic and electric instruments, drums, piano, strings, brass, and woodwind sources.
