One heavily modified Apex 460. "Fox mod" by a pro, audiophile components. NOS GE 5-Star 6072A Tube, Gotham GAC7 cable, the 2 extremely important diodes changed in the PSU (eases electrical wear on the capsule), After-market C12-style headbasket...
Tha "Fox Mod" reduces distortion greatly, improves the frequency response, gets rid of the "eshishness", the brittle top end. (see graphs). This really is extremely close to a true C12 mic!! In factory cardboard box, NOT a hard case!
Selling all, finally, of my studio mics and preamps due to stage 4 cancer and subsequent expensive treatment...see other listings...These are the last and most dearest I've been holding on to until now...
