Description
This Vintage 1970s API 550A-1 is in great shape and was recently inspected and had switches and knobs cleaned. All bands and filter work fine and overall the unit sounds great. I have 4 units like this one at the moment. You can send me a message if you are interested in more than one unit. This is the unit 2.
For those not used to, the 550A-1 is a very similar unit to the 550A with a few differences:
- use of ICs in the circuit
- singe 2520 Op Amp
- constant Q
- balanced input (instead of unbalanced)
These units use the same 550A faceplate, which sometimes confuses some people
